Between a dune and another, between a pinewood and a reed-thicket, in the flourishing countryside close to the wide beaches of the coast, it is also possible to discover town settlements that in such a natural background assume greater value and charm.
Circumnavigating the suggestive lagoons, thats inspired some of the most beautiful pages of "Beyond the river and between the trees" by Ernest Hemingway, one runs into a number of picturesque fishermen villages with the characteristic low houses painted with the lively colours of the Venetian tradition.
Among the seaside resorts, Caorle represents the most significant example: a bell tower built in 1100, an impressive cathedral and a very particular historical centre, established by a group of calli and campielli faced by houses with brilliant colours, which remind miniature of the near Venice.

From Bibione To Albarella are organized daily excursions and trips by boat direct to or that includes also the characteristic islands of the lagoon: Murano, Burano and Torcello, celebrate for the manufacturing of the glass and the traditional art of the laces.
From Lido Of  Cavallino with very frequent connections from Punta Sabbioni it is possible to reach also the Lido of Venice, that coincide with the same lagoon town, and inspired artists of every part of the world.
Thanks to its charm, Lido was selected as the ideal seat of Mostra d’Arte Cinematografica, a movie competition taking place every year, in September, during that week between villas, hotels and garden, all in liberty style, parade famous movie and show stars.

In a geographical position and in a ecosystem unique in the world, Venice belongs to the collective imaginary.  It is the Serenissima, St.Mark, the Cà d’Oro, Rialto, the Grand Canal, but also the mysterious calli, the beauty of the palaces, the large number of bridges that lift its majestic brightness on the sea…

And if you are looking for different emotions, and want would like to know more of an important part of our history, a perfect destination is the highland of Asiago, that raised close to the Pianura Padana in the district of Vicenza, between the rivers Astico and Brenta, only a few steps from the Valsugana. 
It is formed by two steps: on the first one, at an altitude of 1000 metres, the homonymous city of Asiago set down in a wavy basin, in the intense green of the grassland and forests or in the white of snows glistening of sun for eight-nine hours a day; all around the other Seven Communes: Roana, Rotzo, Lusiana, Conco, Gallio, Foza and Enego.
The second step is constituted from a group of mountains high till 2341 metres, that protect the inhabited centres from the northern winds.  All this zone was theatre of important and bloody episodes of the 1915-18 war. 
The solutions are many:  you can begin following by foot a mule track, splendid example of military engineering, with galleries vertical to the sea for 900 metres, then cross beautiful landscapes with panoramas on the plain of Vicenza, on the Pasubio peak and on all of the highland, until arriving to the top of the Cengio Mountain. Then proceeding to Cesura by bus, where stand two war cemeteries, Italian and English, small finding of the conflict of 1915-18, and continue to Asiago to visit the Military memorial of Leiten, where rest beyond 55.000 fallen, and therefore the Museum of the World War in Canove, one of the more important. And for a pleasant break during the day, you can stop in a refuge to enjoy the delightful traditional products.
