Croatia is known all over the world for its crystalline seas, the spectacular coasts, the beautiful beaches and the particularly mild climate that offers many sunny days in the whole year. But the wealth of this young nation of ancient origins are really a large number: innumerable places of art and culture, eight National Parks, make the tourist offer extremely complete and varied able to satisfy every traveller.

Thanks to the geographical and particular position, wide along the Adriatic but also projected toward the inside, Croatia is the meeting point of Mediterranean area and central Europe.
The foreign influences of the past are faithfully present in its cities by Baroque charm, like the capital Zagabria (Zagreb), in the sea cities from the unmistakable Venetian imprint, a lot of which still preserved precious Roman ruins, and in the delicious Medieval villages on the slopes of the mountain from which unforgettable panoramas are enjoyed.

In the western extremity stands its greater peninsula which at the same time is the more known tourist region: the Istria. Often associated to the great hotels and the most evolved tourism, its coast and hinterland offer a group of well preserved natural beauties and landscapes still unknown to the mass tourism. Thanks to its central position in the crossroad of cultural influences, its culture, music and gastronomy are very particular and the place has the fame to be a marvellous and magic.

Varied is also the offer of the natural beauties, wisely protected with the institution of eight National Parks and over fifty protected natural areas, from the mountain area to the sunny islands of the Adriatic coast.

But the region that attracts the greatest number of visitors in Croatia is surely the shore. The Croatian coast, together with the Greek one, is in the Mediterranean that one with the greatest number of islands and with the most jagged coastline, where endless inlets, promontories and beaches are hidden. All washed by a clear and crystalline sea by thousand tonalities from emerald green to the darker blue.

Every visitor, especially if owner of a boat, can find here a shelter in an uncontaminated landscape. And for people who loves the cultural tourism... from the Istria to the Bocche of Cattaro the coasts are populated from millennia and they guard a large number of important historical, artistic and cultural sites.
